Colourful Solutions for Chemistry (v1.8): by Charles Collingwood

1 - Structure, Stoichiometry and the Gas Laws (IB edition) - Price: 25.00€

Comprising:

  • 8 Chapters
  • 56 Sections
  • over 400 worked examples
  • 39 timed self-test programs
  • Free helpline access (limited offer *)

Each Chapter covers a different aspect of calculations for stoichiometry. screenshot 1

Each Section has background theory, worked examples and programmable tests. screenshot 2

The Programmable tests generate (with the exception of the language based tests) a near infinite series of questions for unlimited practice. The user controls the number of questions as well as time allowed, for greater flexibility. They are designed to be either projected onto a white board or may be attempted directly from the computer. There is an option after each test is completed to generate an printable analysis.

Real benefits for students

Pass those exams

To pass IB chemistry exams an understanding of structure is fundamental to the majority of the concepts that follow. This software takes you through each idea in turn, with clear explanations and worked examples drawn from past papers. At the end of each section you can test yourself using the programmable tests until you are certain that you have the concepts under control. Practice, practice, practice.

Online help and support - a book that finally talks back to you!

A Chemistry teacher in-House... For the first time a book with real answers! If you have any problem with your studies you can contact the IB helpline using the MS Mesenger IB help service. A helping hand for those last minute doubts during study. * This offer is valid until the 30th October only, or until number become too large.

Real benefits for teachers

Each section is a lesson in itself. Buying a site licence allows you to install the software on a class set of computers and help the students help themselves.

The tests can be programmed to give a set number of questions and after each test you can print out an analysis of the results.

Teachers could provide the software for their students to revise at home and then send the completed certificates in by email! The possibilities are endless.

How to download and unlock the software

There are two alternatives.

  1. Try now and buy later.... or
  2. Buy now and try later!

Option 1 - Evaluation

Download the demo version of the software , try it out and then buy the unlock key at a later date. You will be prompted to register in order to obtain the unlock key when you first open the book, but if you click "register later" the evaluation version will open for a limited time only. You may re-open the program as many times as you like. Only the first chapter is unlocked.

If you wish to buy "Colourful Solutions" immediately, click on "click here to obtain your licence code" and you will be returned to this page again.

Download the Demo

Download your demo copy of the software using the download button below. This is a limited-access demo edition, which allows you to browse the first chapter for a limited time and try out a couple of the self-test programs. If you wish to re-open the program you can, but once again for a limited time only.

To obtain your evaluation copy, click on one of the download buttons below and when prompted, choose "Save to" a folder of your choice. If you download the .rar file you will need winrar or equivalent to decompress it.
